Downloadable WordPress Codex 3.5

The WordPress Codex is an invaluable tool when it comes to explaining how to use WordPress from the basics on how to create a post and page to more advanced functions developers use.
Many developers like developing themes and websites locally and find themselves frequently offline doing so. The downside to the Codex is that if you’re offline, there is no way to access it.
What we have decided to do is download the entire WordPress Codex and put it in to one nice neat .zip file that you can browse with your favorite web browser just as if you were offline.
All you’ll need to do is download the .zip file we created and extract it. From there open up the index.html file and away you go!

But I have a problem each page of the offline codex is not styled.
What can be the cause of this?
Try re-extracting it. Sounds like you’re missing the stylesheet or perhaps it’s not linked properly in your case.
This is extremely useful. Could you please tell us how you did this in order to allow us to do it by ourselves whenever there is a new version of codex available? Thanks!

hey css not working. No style at all.
hey Jason Craig man you done a nice job. I have fixed the css problems. I have personally try to download this using HTTRACK but failed because wordpress block httrack. How could you do that. Can you make a explain on that.
